Saw his first Major League action in 2023, appearing in 37 games with the Tigers...also played in 113 games with Triple A Toledo... Posted a 16-game hitting streak with Toledo from June 9-28, slashing .370/.390/.658 with eight doubles, two triples, three home runs and 10 RBI... Made his Major League debut on Aug. 21 vs. Chicago (NL)...started in center field and singled in the sixth inning for his first big league hit off Javier Assad... Launched a walk-off, three-run home run in the ninth inning on Aug. 25 vs. Houston...was his first Major League homer and the first RBI of his big league career...became the first Tiger to hit a walk-off blast for his first Major League home run since Riley Greene did so on July 2, 2022 vs. Kansas City... according to Stats Perform, Meadows became the only MLB player to have a walk-off, three-run homer or grand slam in the bottom of the ninth for his first career RBI since RBI became an official stat in 1920... Became the third Tigers player in franchise history to have at least three extra-base hits and four walks through his first five games, joining Barney McCosky (April 18-23, 1939) and Kid Elberfeld (April 25-30, 1901)... Spent most of the 2022 season with Double A Erie, playing in 113 games with the SeaWolves....Named to the Eastern League postseason All-Star Team and was selected a Tigers Organization All-Star by MiLB.com....Ranked tied for fourth in the EL with six triples, while he was fifth with a .275 (117x425) batting average, eighth with a .354 on-base percentage, tied for eighth with an .820 OPS, tied for ninth with 117 hits and tied for 10th with 198 total bases....Began the season with Single A West Michigan and earned Midwest League Player of the Week honors for the week ending April 17, slashing .296/.321/.741 with four doubles, one triple, two home runs and three RBI. ...Hit safely in 10 straight games from June 4-16, going 12x32 with a double, two triples, two home runs and four RBI....Voted Tigers Minor League Player of the Month for August, hitting .290/.370/.600 with five doubles, one triple, eight home runs and 15 RBI in 27 games.
