A Collection of Recipes from Members of the 2003 Royals Players and Staff
The Kansas City Royals Wives Association launches the 2003 edition of their cookbook, "From Our Grill to Yours." This year's cookbook pays special tribute to Kansas City's tradition of great barbecue featuring nearly 100 cookout recipes.
Royals fans can get the inside scoop on Royals players favorite recipes, including "Desi's Famous Mac 'N Cheese" and Mike Sweeney's "Easy as Pie Cookies & Cream". In addition to recipes, the barbecue cookbook features photos of Royals players with their wives and families, as well as little known facts regarding the eating habits of the team.
Proceeds from sales of the cookbook will again benefit The Children's Place which provides resources for families to ensure the health, safety and security of young children.
