For the Robertson family, baseball is a family affair. Dick Robertson is an authority on youth fields and recently helped the Renwick Education Foundation complete a BTF field project. One of his sons, Josh, is the General Manager of the Wichita Wranglers, while another son, Nate, is a pitcher for the Detroit Tigers. Jays and D-backs host upcoming Equipment Days
Jays and D-backs Equipment Day photo

During the last weekend in May, both the Toronto Blue Jays and Arizona Diamondbacks will be collecting new and used equipment at their ballparks. In Toronto, the donated equipment, as well as a $5,000 Baseball Tomorrow Fund grant, will be awarded to Toronto Community Housing. The Diamondbacks recipient will be the Tempe Guadalupe Little League. Equipment Day veterans Vernon Wells and Tony Clark will be on hand to present the grants to the organizations.

The mission is to promote and enhance the growth of youth participation in baseball and softball around the world by funding programs, fields, coaches' training, and the purchase of uniforms and equipment.
