Rangers infield prospect Renny Osuna went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and a pair of runs scored as the Tiburones handed the Aguilas their fifth straight loss. Reds farmhand Miguel Rojas was 3-for-3 and also drove in three runs to help La Guaira end a two-game slide. Kenny Perez (Rockies) collected three hits, including two doubles, and an RBI for Zulia. Caribes 5, Aragua 2
Indians prospect Niuman Romero's RBI single capped a three-run eighth inning that gave the last-place Caribes their second straight win. Minor League veteran Tony Alvarez contributed two hits, a walk, an RBI and a run scored for Anzoategui, while Diamondbacks farmhand Seth Etherton pitched five solid innings for Aragua. Box score

Major League veteran Orlando Hernandez struck out five and allowed an unearned run on two hits over five innings before the Bravos edged the Leones. Former Minor Leaguer Frank Diaz singled, stole a base and scored the winning run on Rene Reyes' ninth-inning base hit. Cubs infielder Andres Blanco went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored as the Navegantes rallied past the Cardenales. White Sox farmhand Miguel Negron fell a triple shy of the cycle, drove in three runs and scored twice as the Lobos cruised past the Indios for their first win of the season.
