The Mets jumped on Matt Cain for three runs in the first inning, and Tom Glavine left no doubt about a victory with a brilliant seven-inning performance. Glavine gave up just a solo shot by Barry Bonds, and the Mets offense was paced by multihit games by Jose Reyes, David Wright and Paul Lo Duca.
