The Brewers made a strong attempt to avert a doubleheader sweep behind back-to-back three-run frames in Game 2 -- with the key hit coming on Craig Counsell's two-run double -- but the bullpen was unable to hold the Red Sox at bay, giving up the winning run in the seventh.
