Rays 8, Yankees 6
Hideki Matsui hit the Yankees' first homer of the night in the fifth. (AP)
By Anthony DiComo / MLB.com
Andy Pettitte allowed a career-high four homers, and fellow veteran Mariano Rivera, trying to give the Yanks a chance to walk off, allowed back-to-back shots for the first time. Hideki Matsui went deep in the fifth, and Johnny Damon hit a two-run shot to tie the game in the eighth.
