2022

On 3/14 was signed by the Tigers to a Minor League contract and invited to Major League Spring Training camp...on 7/16 requested and was granted his release...On 7/25 was signed by the Rays to a Minor League contract...on 8/25 requested and was granted his release...Two days later was signed by the Reds...On 8/27 was signed by the Reds to a Minor League contract and, with the team at Wsh, was assigned to the Taxi Squad...Two days later vs StL made his Reds debut and his first Major League appearance since 8/4/21 for Phi at Wsh...Joined and remained in the rotation after the Reds lost to trade or injury starting pitchers RHP Luis Castillo (traded to the Mariners), RHP Tyler Mahle (traded to the Twins), RHP Robert Dugger (right shoulder pain), RHP Hunter Greene (right shoulder strain), RHP Graham Ashcraft (right biceps soreness), RHP T.J. Zeuch (back soreness), RHP Justin Dunn (right shoulder tightness) and LHP Mike Minor (left shoulder soreness)...Went 2-3, 6.04 in his seven starts, including 2-1, 2.18 in five starts in September...Made the first of his two relief appearances in the 5-3 loss on 8/31 vs StL, pitched the 13th and final inning as the ninth Reds pitcher of the game...didn’t miss his next scheduled start, on 9/4 vs Col...In his final start of the season, on 10/2 at Cubs, recorded just one out (5er, 2h, 3bb, 0k, 37 pitches)...Three days later, in the season finale, made his second relief appearance...In the 14-3 loss on 8/29 vs StL became the 59th player to appear in a game for the Reds, extending the single-season club record that reached 66 players....became the 33rd of a club-record 38 pitchers to appear in a game for the Reds...Before joining the Reds on 8/27, spent the season in the minor leagues with the Class AAA affiliates of the Tigers and Rays (27g, 16gs, 7-3-1, 4.50)...made 15 starts & two relief appearances for Toledo and one start & nine relief appearances for Durham...Made 13 of his 16 Minor League starts in his first 14 appearances of the season...made three starts in his last 13 appearances... made nine of his last 10 Minor League appearances in relief.

His first season with TOR l Posted a career-best 24.7% strikeout rate (38 SO, 154 BF)...Also had career bests in SO/9.0 IP (10.16) and SO/BB ratio (3.80)...Was on the IL with a right oblique strain, 7/20-8/7...Over his first five starts, posted a 3.20 ERA (7 ER, 19.2 IP) and held opponents to a .260/.305/.390 slash line; over his final five games (2 GS), posted a 12.86 ERA (20 ER, 14.0 IP) and held opponents to a .379/.431/.894 slash line.

2019

Made his first five appearances of the season in relief, going 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA (5 ER/10.0 IP)...His last 27 outings were all as a starter, in which he went 7-4 with a 4.19 ERA (60 ER/129.0 IP)...Allowed two-or-fewer earned runs in 20 of his 27 starts...Made his 1st start of the season on April 20 vs. LAD and tossed 5.0 scoreless frames while allowing one hit (2BB, 5K)....Was placed on the 10-day injured list from May 1-17 with a right middle finger laceration...Was named Brewers Pitcher of the Month for July as he went 1-0 with a 2.90 ERA (10 ER/31.0 IP) over six starts...Allowed a career-high 10 runs on Aug. 18 at WAS...Made his longest run-free start of the year as he tossed 6.0 scoreless innings on Sept. 20 vs. PIT, allowing three hits in a 10-1 win (1BB, 4K)...Went 2-0 with a 2.35 ERA (6 ER/23.0 IP) and a .200 opponents' batting average across five starts in September.

2018

Went 9-8 with a 3.93 ERA in 30 starts with Milwaukee... His 30 starts tied a career high (also 2016)... The Brewers went 16-14 in his starts... Produced 11 quality starts, going 6-2 with a 1.70 ERA in those starts (68.2ip, 13er)... Made his first career Opening Day start on 3/29 at San Diego and allowed just 1 hit over 6.0 shutout innings (3bb, 6k).....received no decision in the Brewers' 2-1, 12-inning victory... Was on the 10-day disabled list from 5/13-5/20 due to illness, retroactive to 5/10... Tied the Rockies' Tyler Anderson for the National League lead in home runs allowed (30)... Was not on the NLDS or NLCS rosters.

2017

Went 12-4 with a 2.74 ERA in 25 starts... Set career highs for wins (12) and strikeouts (133)...The Brewers went 14-11 in his starts... Produced 13 quality starts, going 8-2 with a 1.48 ERA in those starts (85ip, 14er)... Was named Brewers Pitcher of the Month for April (5gs, 2-0, 2.10era) and September/October (6gs, 4-1, 2.06era)...Took a no-hitter into the eighth inning on 5/27 vs. Arizona before allowing a leadoff single to Nick Ahmed.....earned a 6-1 win (7ip, 1h, 0r, 3bb, 11k).....his 11 strikeouts were a career high... Tossed 21.2 consecutive scoreless innings from 5/27-6/6... Was on the 10-day disabled list from 6/29-8/19 with a left oblique strain.....suffered the injury on 6/28 at Cincinnati while swinging the bat... Ranked sixth in the National League in ERA (2.89) and eighth in WHIP (1.11) at the time of his placement on the disabled list... Signed a 2-year contract with club options for 2020 and 2021 on 10/26, avoiding arbitration

2016

Went 6-6 with a 4.30 ERA in 27 starts with Arizona...The Diamondbacks went 11-16 in his starts...Produced 13 quality starts, going 5-0 with a 1.59 ERA in those starts (84.2ip, 15er)...Went 3-1 with a 2.84 ERA over his first 13 starts of the season (79.1ip, 25er) and 3-5 with a 5.89 ERA over his last 14 starts (73.1ip, 48er)...Tossed 6.1 no-hit innings on 6/12 at San Francisco before surrendering an infield single to Buster Posey.....earned a 1-0 win over Madison Bumgarner (7ip, 1h, 1bb, 2k, 2hbp, 1wp)...Was on the 15-day disabled list from 7/19-8/6 with right triceps inflammation...Was optioned to Triple-A Reno on 8/18 but did not pitch there before he was recalled on 8/20...Notched a career-high 10 strikeouts over 6.0 innings on 9/23 at Los Angeles but received no decision in the Diamondbacks' 4-1 loss.....did not allow a hit after Chase Utley's leadoff homer ...Was traded to Milwaukee, along with INF Aaron Hill, SS Isan Diaz and cash, in exchange for SS Jean Segura and RHP Tyler Wagner on 1/30/16.

2015

Spent the year with ARI, his first full ML season...Went 3-1 with a 2.84 ERA (25 ER, 79.1 IP) over his first 13 starts and 3-5 with a 5.89 ERA (48 ER, 73.1 IP) over his final 14...Took a no-hitter into the seventh inning, 6/12 at SF...Was on the IL with right triceps inflammation, 7/19-8/6...Allowed a leadoff HR to Chase Utley, 9/23 at LAD; proceeded to strike out 10 over 6.0 innings and held LAD hitless after Utley’s home run.

2014

Spent the entire season with Triple-A Reno, going 4-7 with a 5.73 ERA (56 ER in 88.0 IP) in 26 games (13 starts). Went 3-7 with a 5.50 ERA (42 ER in 68.2 IP) as a starter and 1-0 with a 6.41 ERA (14 ER in 19.2 IP) in relief. On disabled list from May 26-June 4 and June 11-July 21 with a strained right triceps.

2012

Went 5-4 with a 2.86 ERA (33 ER in 104.1 IP) in 21 starts with Double-A Mobile...2.86 ERA would have led the Southern League but did not qualify...his .238 opponents average would have ranked fifth among all SL starters...Named to the SL midseason All-Star Team...On disabled list with a strained right elbow from May 20-June 17...Made 2 starts during the postseason with SL champion BayBears, going 1-1 with a 3.48 ERA (4 ER in 10.1 IP)...Played with Salt River of the Arizona Fall League and was 3-1 with a 3.47 ERA (9 ER in 23.1 IP)...participated in the AFL Rising Stars Game and won AFL Pitcher of the Week honors for Week 3, going 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA.

2011

Pitched in just 3 games with Single-A Visalia due to injury, going 1-1 with a 5.40 ERA (8 ER in 13.1 IP)...On the 7-day disabled list twice with a strained right elbow (April 16-May 3 and May 9-end of season).

2010

Combined to go 7-7 with 3 saves and a 3.32 ERA (40 ER in 108.1 IP) in 26 games (11 starts) with Single-A South Bend and Visalia...Was 4-6 with a 2.70 ERA (19 ER in 63.1 IP) as a starter and 3-1 with a 4.20 ERA (21 ER in 45.0 IP) in relief...Began the season with the Silver Hawks and went 2-4 with a 2.82 ERA (12 ER in 38.1 IP) in 7 starts...Midwest League Pitcher of the Week for May 3-10...Promoted to Visalia on May 18 and was 5-3 with 3 saves and a 3.60 ERA (28 ER in 70.0 IP) in 19 games (4 starts)...Named California League Pitcher of the Week for May 31-June 7...struck out 11 in a win on June 4 vs. Stockton (1 ER in 7.0 IP).

Made his professional debut with Advanced Rookie Missoula and went 3-1 with a 2.38 ERA (12 ER in 45.1 IP) in 18 games (4 starts).
