Las Vegas once again played host to some of the top names in sports and entertainment as the highly anticipated Derek Jeter Celebrity Invitational (DJCI) returned to the exclusive Shadow Creek golf course for the second consecutive year. Hosted by the Five Diamond ARIA Resort and Casino, the three-day event contributed more than $1 million to Derek Jeter's Turn 2 Foundation.

Ken Griffey Jr., Cal Ripken Jr., Rob Riggle, Josh Duhamel,Luke Rockhold Julius Thomas, Bode Miller, Tino Martinez, Jorge Posada, Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez, Paige Spiranac and Haley Joel Osment were among the many celebrities and athletes who hit the links to make a difference in the lives of the young people in Turn 2's signature programs.

"As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Turn 2 Foundation, I continue to be amazed by the overwhelming support we receive from athletes, celebrities, corporate partners and friends who make events like DJCI such a tremendous success," said Derek Jeter, who created the Turn 2 Foundation in 1996. "The Turn 2 Foundation helps thousands of young people reach their full potential, and the funds we raised during the 2016 DJCI will allow us to further our mission. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us at Shadow Creek for another great year and hope each of them had as much fun as I did."

This year's DJCI kicked off Wednesday, April 20 with a Welcome Reception presented by Jordan Brand at ARIA's LIQUID Pool Lounge. Thursday morning marked the beginning of the first two rounds of the Celebrity-Amateur golf tournament, where teams of celebrities and amateur participants went head-to-head in a best-ball, modified shamble format at Shadow Creek. NFL Hall-of-Famer Chris Carter and his team emerged victorious on the first day of golf.

Following a day at Shadow Creek, celebrities, friends, partners and supporters joined Jeter at the event's signature DJCI gala at ARIA. Heidi Watney, studio host and reporter with the MLB Network, emceed the evening where celebrities and VIP guests enjoyed world-class dining and had the chance to bid in a silent auction that featured exclusive memorabilia and experiences. The Impractical Jokers comedy team warmed up the crowd with a side-splitting performance before world-renowned, multi-platinum artist Flo Rida headlined the celebration -- leaving those in attendance buzzing well into the night.

The week concluded with a final round of the Celebrity-Amateur tournament Friday, April 22 where NFL Hall-of-Famer Jerome Bettis and singer Joey Fatone led their teams to a first-place tie.

This year's DJCI partners included ICON International, Turner and JP Sports + Entertainment.

Funds raised at DJCI will help further the Turn 2 Foundation's mission of fostering leadership development, academic excellence, healthy lifestyles, positive behavior and social change among young people in New York, West Michigan and Tampa, Florida.
