For Adults Too!!
I want to thank you for visiting my Turn 2 Foundation Web site. Our Turn 2 team is excited about being able to use this Web site to inform fans and the general public about the work of the Foundation. The staff is working hard to make the Web site a fun place for young people to visit because everybody knows when people have fun learning, they come back for more.
This Web site gives me a forum to personally address those issues that I care so passionately about, that I've built an entire Foundation around them. The Turn 2 team's efforts and resources are sharply focused on those issues crucial to today's young people including alcohol and drug abuse, as well as leadership development. Turn 2 has more than just my name, its programs are the major focus of my off-the-field efforts.
I'm committed to using www.Turn2Foundation.org as another vehicle to reach out to young people and to emphasize the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This Web site will also demonstrate to young people and adults alike, how much satisfaction I get in giving back to the public that gives so much to me. I'm determined to make this site an inspiration to you to give back in your own community too.
Of course, I will continue to meet with as many young people throughout the year face-to-face at different Foundation and other public events. Whether it's right or wrong, kids will listen to me because I'm a professional athlete.
It's important to me that you understand how serious I am about promoting
a healthy lifestyle for today's youth.
