Pittsburgh Pirates unveil Yinzerpalooza Mystery Bobblehead
The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced the final promotional bobblehead for the season that will be given out to the first 20,000 fans attending the July 20 game against the Phillies, during the team’s Yinzerpalooza weekend. A celebration of all things Pittsburgh, Yinzerpalooza will feature a special bobblehead of beloved Pittsburgh superstar, Wiz Khalifa.
One of Pittsburgh's favorite native sons, the special Wiz Khalifa collectible was created in close collaboration with Taylor Gang and Wiz to bring the bobblehead to life. With meticulous attention to detail, the bobblehead reflects the unmistakable personality that has captivated fans and incorporates specific details, including Wiz’ tattoos, jewelry, and attire. Additionally, the bobblehead features a sound chip that plays "Black and Yellow," a Wiz Khalifa hit that has become an anthem at Pirates games and a beloved representation of the city of Pittsburgh.
The collaboration continues an ongoing relationship between the Pirates and the Taylor Gang artist. Khalifa has often been seen throwing out the first pitch, sporting Pirates gear, and featured in Pirates content, including last year's City Connect jersey release.
Wiz Khalifa is scheduled to make an appearance during Yinzerpalooza weekend at PNC Park with more details to follow.
