7:36 a.m. PT: A monstrous breakfast is now being served, with fresh fruit, eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, pancakes and French toast. While people wait in line, they're being entertained by Lou Seal, who clearly enjoyed a good night's sleep, given his energy. As they eat breakfast, fans also visit with Giants alumni Tito Fuentes and Greg "Moon Man" Minton. Parents have to explain to their children who the former players are, and one father compares Minton to Giants closer Robb Nen. The son still doesn't seem that impressed. People are also picking up their photos from the night before and broad smiles break out on their faces when they see the shots with rubber chickens and bats, the scoreboard shining in the dark night. The only concession being made to the bright sun so far is the classic games arcade machine has been turned away from the glare. Sadly, most of the kids who have played that game chose Pac-Man instead of perhaps the greatest game of all time, Dig Dug. previous entry » |
