Building on the success of two of the 2009 season's biggest events, the Giants are proud to present the first Filipino Heritage Night of 2010! Come support the Bay Area's strong Filipino culture as the Giants take on the Philadelphia Phillies. All Filipino Heritage Night ticketholders will be seated in the same sections of the stadium, creating a community feel at the ballpark, and cultural performers will entertain fans leading up to the start of the game. Back by popular demand, the Giants are hosting not one, but TWO Japanese Heritage Nights this season. Our second event is in honor of the 20th annual Japan-America Grassroots Summit, being held August 25th-29th in San Francisco. The summit aims to strengthen the peaceful relationship between Japan and America is held alternately between Japan and America every year, arriving in San Francisco for 2010! Special event ticket packages to Japanese Heritage Night include a seat in the heritage section at the game, as well as a limited-edition Masanori Murakami Jersey-T. Murakami was the first Japanese player to play in the major leagues, and he happened to be a member of the Giants.
