Rays announce application details for Community Fund Grant

The Rays Baseball Foundation and Rowdies Soccer Fund have announced details for the annual Community Fund Grant program. The Community Fund Grant program will accept applications beginning today, March 1 and will close the application on Sunday, April 30.

The Rays Baseball Foundation Community Fund Grant program provides assistance to local nonprofits in the Tampa Bay region. These grants help enhance and support current programs offered by community-based nonprofit organizations. The Foundation has invested more than $2 million to over 400 local nonprofits through this program since 2008.

“We are excited to continue the Community Fund Grant this year,” said Rays Baseball Foundation and Rowdies Soccer Fund Executive Director David Egles. “Each year brings new and growing needs on both sides of the bay. We strive to continue our commitment and support of these diverse nonprofits in order to address our changing world and invest in their visions, values and missions.”
