Angels announce 2020 Spring Training schedule

The Angels will hold Spring Training in Tempe, Arizona for the 28th consecutive season

The Angels today announced their 2020 Spring Training schedule. The Club will open Cactus League play February 22nd with split squad games. The Angels will host the Kansas City Royals in their first game at Tempe Diablo Stadium and will visit the Chicago White Sox at Camelback Ranch that day. The Angels will play a total of 33 games throughout the duration of Spring Training (30 Cactus League games in Arizona).  

The Angels’ Cactus League schedule features 15 contests at Tempe Diablo Stadium and 15 road games, spanning Feb. 22nd through March 20th. The Angels will also take part in four split-squad days throughout the Spring, including three consecutive Sundays (March 1, 8 and 15).  

The 2020 Cactus League slate features nine weekend home games (Fri-Sun). The Angels will then return to Southern California and open the annual Freeway Exhibition Series on March 22 against the Dodgers at Angel Stadium. The Spring schedule will conclude with a pair of games at Dodger Stadium (March 23-24).
