ANAHEIM, CA -- Angels General Manager Billy Eppler released the following statement regarding Angels RHP Griffin Canning.

“Griffin Canning underwent an MRI this morning in Los Angeles. The results show mild inflammation in his elbow joint. We will shut Griffin down for the remainder of the season to allow the inflammation to subside.”
