Astros make pitching moves, activate Feldman

Oberholtzer optioned, Clemens recalled and Cisnero placed on 15-day DL

The Astros made a slew of roster moves with their pitching staff on Friday. Scott Feldman was activated from the disabled list to start Friday's game against the Orioles. Brett Oberholtzer was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City, while Paul Clemens was recalled from Oklahoma City and Jose Cisnero was placed on the 15-day DL due to right elbow discomfort.

Feldman returns to make his fifth start of the season. The right-hander was 2-1 with a 1.69 ERA before being sidelined with tendinitis in his right biceps. Feldman signed with Houston in the offseason and was the club's Opening Day starter.

Clemens returns for his second stint with the Astros this season. The right-hander made four appearances with Houston in April and posted a 4.73 ERA over 13 1/3 innings.

Oberholtzer made the Opening Day roster and started seven games, but the left-hander went 0-6 with a 5.68 ERA.

Cisnero has been with the Astros since being recalled from Triple-A on April 25. He made five relief appearances before his injury.
