Astros Host Boston Red Sox for Games 3, 4 and 5 of ALCS, Starting Tomorrow

The Astros will host the Boston Red Sox in Games 3, 4 and 5 of the American League Championship Series here at Minute Maid Park starting tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 16 through Thursday, Oct. 18. Tomorrow's Game 3 will begin at 4:09 p.m. CT as lefty Dallas Keuchel takes the mound against Boston. Wednesday's Game 4 will begin at 7:39 p.m. CT with Astros veteran RHP Charlie Morton on the bump and Thursday's Game 5 will begin at 7:09 p.m. CT. All Boston starters are TBA. The Astros and Red Sox enter play on Tuesday tied at 1-1, with Houston taking the first game of the series and Boston taking the second. The Astros will look to secure their second consecutive World Series berth in this best-of-seven AL Championship Series.

ASTROS POSTSEASON STREET FESTS, GATE TIMES AND ROOF STATUS
Astros fans of all ages are invited to a Postseason Street Fest prior to each Astros Postseason home game! The Postseason Street Fest takes place on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., on Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Crawford Street. Fans can enjoy live music by the Powell Brothers (Tuesday), Cottonwood Crows (Wednesday) and Fidelity Maxx (Thursday); photo opportunities; face painters; caricaturists; food trucks; inflatables; bar games; photo booths; poster-making stations and much more before the Astros take on the Boston Red Sox. Fans can access the Astros Postseason Street Fest via the Atrium, Left Field Gate and Center Field Gate. A valid game ticket is required for entry.
Gate times for the three ALCS home games are as follows: 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday and 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
The roof of Minute Maid Park will be closed for Games 3, 4 and 5 of the ALCS.
POSTSEASON GATE GIVEAWAYS AND PREGAME CEREMONIES
All fans in attendance at Astros ALCS Games 3, 4 and 5 will receive a special postseason gate giveaway. Prior to Game 3 on Tuesday, all fans will receive an Astros Postseason Rally Towel presented by Chevron. Prior to Game 4 on Wednesday, all fans will receive an Astros Postseason Pom Pom. Astros fans will receive an Astros Postseason Rally Towel at gates prior to Game 5 on Thursday.
During a special pregame ceremony on Tuesday, Astros Season Ticket Holders will present a 50-yard U.S. flag in the outfield as Astros front office members and their families unfurl a "Never Settle" banner that will cover the infield. A Joint-Service Color Guard will present our nation's colors before country music star Cody Johnson performs Tuesday's National Anthem. Fellow country music star Neal McCoy will perform God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch. Astros legend Lance Berkman will throw Tuesday's ceremonial first pitch to former teammate and current Astros TV broadcaster Geoff Blum. Houston rapper Slim Thug will call "Play Ball!" to kick off Game 3 of the ALCS.
Wednesday's pregame will also feature several special guests. The U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Station Houston Color Guard will present our nation's colors prior to country music artist Tracy Byrd performing the National Anthem. Additionally, Tauren Wells, who performed at this year's Faith and Family Night, will return to perform God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch. Astros legend and 2005 NLDS Game 4 hero Chris Burke will throw the ceremonial first pitch on Wednesday to fellow Astros legend Brandon Backe, who was a key piece of the Astros' success during their 2005 World Series run. Houston Texans wide receiver Deandre Hopkins will call "Play Ball!" before the Astros take on the Red Sox in Game 4 of the ALCS.
On Thursday, Astros favorite and country music legend Clay Walker will perform the National Anthem following the Navy Recruiting District Houston All Female Color Guard's presentation of our nation's colors. Native Houstonian and 2014 Miss Houston Isis Smalls will perform God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch. Astros legend Jeff Kent, who is no stranger to postseason grandeur having hit the game-winning home run in Game 5 of the 2004 NLCS, will throw out Thursday's ceremonial first pitch to former first base coach and fellow Astros legend Jose Cruz. The Astros TV broadcast team, composed of Todd Kalas (play-by-play), Geoff Blum (color) and Julia Morales (sideline), will call "Play Ball!" prior to Thursday's 7:09 p.m. CT first pitch.
TICKETS
All fans must either have their printed tickets in hand or utilize the MLB.com Ballpark App on their mobile devices to access Minute Maid Park and the Astros Postseason Street Fest for all Astros Postseason games. PDFs, screenshots or any photos of tickets on a mobile device will NOT be accepted, and the Astros will not be able to print tickets on-site. Additionally, there is a no re-entry policy during the postseason.
TRAVELING TO THE BALLPARK
The Astros encourage fans to give themselves extra time to travel to the ballpark as there will be several road and lane closures surrounding Minute Maid Park, which will remain in effect through the end of the Astros postseason run. Astros fans and media should heed all directional signage indicating altered routes around downtown and surrounding the ballpark. Additionally, parking around Minute Maid Park will be limited. Directional signage around the ballpark will also advise fans of postseason entrances, which may vary slightly from the regular season.
The Uber pickup and dropoff area in center field will be available for fans to utilize throughout the postseason. Metro also provides a fast and easy alternative for getting to and from the ballpark. For more information, please visit www.ridemetro.org.
ASTROS ON TV AND RADIO
TBS is slated to exclusively televise ALCS Games 3-5 between the Houston Astros and Boston Red Sox, with Brian Anderson and Ron Darling on the call and Lauren Shehadi reporting from the sidelines.
Fans can catch both games on the radio on the Astros flagship radio stations 790 KBME AM and in Spanish on La Ranchera 850 AM/101.7 FM, as well as on ESPN Radio and ESPN Deportes 1230 AM.

ORANGE OUT HOUSTON
The Astros are asking local businesses, schools, community leaders, organizations and Astros fans to Orange Out Houston by wearing orange clothing and accessories, rocking their Astros apparel, decking out their buildings in orange and creatively displaying their Astros pride throughout the Astros' postseason run. Astros fans are encouraged to post photos of what they are doing to Orange Out Houston with the hashtag #NeverSettle.
