Astros Host Texas Rangers for Mother's Day Weekend Beginning Tomorrow

The division-leading Astros, coming off of a three-game sweep of the Oakland A's, host the in-state and division rival Texas Rangers this weekend, May 11-13 for Mother's Day Weekend presented by Houston Methodist. This weekend also marks the continuation of the Lone Star Series presented by Texas Lottery and the quest for the Silver Boot. The Astros currently lead the Rangers, 4-3, in the season series.

Single game tickets, season tickets, group tickets and suite rentals, which provide fans with the best value for the biggest games, are available now and selling out quickly, so fans are encouraged to purchase early. TICKET POLICY
As a reminder regarding tickets, all fans must either have their printed tickets in hand or utilize the MLB Ballpark App on their mobile devices to access Minute Maid Park and any Astros Street Fests. PDFs, screenshots or any photos of tickets on a mobile device will NOT be accepted, and the Astros will not be able to print tickets on-site. As part of the Astros' ongoing commitment to the safety of all fans, there is no re-entry into the ballpark once fans are scanned in, a policy consistent with the Astros postseason game day protocol as well as with other sports and entertainment venues around the country.
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP JEWELRY COLLECTION FOR MOTHER'S DAY
Fans can find great, last-minute Mother's Day gift options at Minute Maid Park this weekend. The Houston Astros and Jostens partnered in producing a World Championship jewelry collection for Astros fans, who can purchase from this collection exclusively at the Astros Team Store at Minute Maid Park and www.jostens.com/astrosfan, all season long. The collection features unique pieces of jewelry for men and women in a variety of styles and price points. Fans can purchase from this exclusive collection at a special pop-up retail location in Union Station Lobby now through June 3. An exclusive Elite Fan Ring is also now available for purchase, with non-precious options available. The Astros created a special H Strong jewelry collection in partnership with Jostens, the net proceeds of which will benefit the Astros Foundation's ongoing Harvey recovery efforts.
Friday, May 11 vs. Texas Rangers - 7:10 p.m.
Mother's Day Weekend presented by Houston Methodist kicks off on Friday with Pinot in the Park. The sold-out event includes a ticket to Friday's game versus the Texas Rangers, Astros Wine Charms, an Infuser Water Bottle and a Pinot in the Park passport valid for four (4) tastings and one (1) full glass of wine and food tastings. The event takes place from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Union Station Lobby prior to Friday's 7:10 p.m. first pitch. As an extension of Pinot in the Park, all fans also have an opportunity to purchase a bottle of wine at the Market, located in Center Field, and receive a complimentary cheese, fruit and cracker package. New this year to Pinot in the Park is a VIP level ticket, which includes an exclusive event space on the 2nd floor of Union Station Lobby, a passport for wine tastings, an Astros wine decanter, live music, more exclusive wines, and access to a sommelier. The VIP Event ticket, which is sold out, includes all other Pinot in the Park benefits.
Big and Bright Friday Nights return to Minute Maid Park this Friday with a special Pregame Happy Hour presented by Budweiser at the Budweiser Brew House, where fans can enjoy $6, 16oz Budweiser Signature Draft beer and food specials, a live DJ, corn hole, jenga, and more from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. before every Friday night home game.
Come get loud and rowdy every Friday night in the Astros dedicated fan-section, 'StroZone, presented by Texas Mahindra Dealers! This Friday night's 'StroZone includes an exclusive Gerrit "Cole Train" 'StroZone T-shirt for fans. To cap off Big and Bright Friday Night, fans are invited to stay after the game for Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Occidental Petroleum. This Friday's fireworks display will be set to a musical theme of 90's pop music. Upon conclusion of Friday's game and prior to the start of Friday Night Fireworks, fans will be asked to move from the following sections for their safety and enjoyment: Home Run Alley, Escalator Tower Stairs in Center Field, Budweiser Brew House Tiers, Budweiser Batter's Eye Bar, Torchy's Deck, Crawford Boxes and sections 100-109, 205-208, 305-309, and 405-409.
Saturday, May 12 vs. Texas Rangers - 6:10 p.m.
Prior to Saturday's 6:10 p.m. contest, 10,000 fans will receive an Astros Floppy Summer Hat presented by Houston Methodist in celebration of Mother's Day Weekend. Fans are encouraged to arrive at the ballpark early to receive any promotional giveaways, as supplies are limited and not guaranteed. However, fans will not be allowed to line up for giveaways prior to 8:00 a.m. on any giveaway day this season.
Fans are invited to stick around after the game on Saturday for an Astros After Party presented by Budweiser, located in the Budweiser Brew House in Center Field. The Astros After Party will begin in the 8th inning and go until one hour after the final out. Fans can enjoy live music, trivia, food and beverage specials, games and visits from the Astros Coca-Cola Shooting Stars.
Sunday, May 13 vs. Texas Rangers - 1:10 p.m.
Prior to Sunday's first pitch, 10,000 fans will receive an Astros Infinity Scarf presented by Houston Methodist in celebration of Mother's Day Weekend. Additionally, mothers of Astros players will participate in a special ceremonial first pitch to their sons as part of the Mother's Day Weekend celebration.
In a special pregame ceremony, staff members from Houston Methodist Breast Cancer Centers will join breast cancer survivors, patients, supporters, employees and families from The Rose organization to form a human pink ribbon on the field.
The Astros will also recognize Honorary Bat Girl Fran Linton in a pregame ceremony and with a ceremonial first pitch prior to Sunday's ballgame. Fran's journey began when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in the 1950's and passed away from the disease in 1967. Fran was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1996. She was determined to take her experiences and use them to help others going through this difficult journey. In 2001, she began as a volunteer with Project Mammogram, which assists uninsured women and men who can't afford mammograms. Since then, she has served as volunteer coordinator, project liaison and office manager for Project Mammogram.
