Astros Open 10-Game Homestand Against Division Rival LA Angels on April 23

The Astros return home on Monday, April 23 to open a 10-game homestand, the longest of the season thus far, against the LA Angels of Anaheim in a three-game set (April 23-25). The Astros are now just a half-game behind the Angels for the AL West Division lead. Following the Angels, the Astros will face another division rival, the Oakland A's, for a weekend series (April 27-29) before meeting the New York Yankees for the first time since defeating them in the memorable 2017 AL Championship Series. The Bronx Bombers will play a four-game, weekday set at Minute Maid Park, April 30 - May 3.

TICKET POLICY
As a reminder regarding tickets, all fans must either have their printed tickets in hand or utilize the MLB Ballpark App on their mobile devices to access Minute Maid Park and any Astros Street Fests. PDFs, screenshots or any photos of tickets on a mobile device will NOT be accepted, and the Astros will not be able to print tickets on-site. As part of the Astros' ongoing commitment to the safety of all fans, there is no re-entry into the ballpark once fans are scanned in, a policy consistent with the Astros postseason game day protocol as well as with other sports and entertainment venues around the country.
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP COLLECTION
The Houston Astros and Jostens partnered in producing a World Championship jewelry collection for Astros fans, who can purchase from this collection exclusively at the Astros Team Store at Minute Maid Park and www.jostens.com/astrosfan, all season long. The collection features unique pieces of jewelry for men and women in a variety of styles and price points. Fans can purchase from this exclusive collection at a special pop-up retail location in Union Station Lobby now through June 3. An exclusive Elite Fan Ring is also now available for purchase, with non-precious options available. The Astros created a special H Strong jewelry collection in partnership with Jostens, the net proceeds of which will benefit the Astros Foundation's ongoing Harvey recovery efforts.
Monday, April 23 vs. LA Angels - 7:10 p.m.
On Monday, April 23, the Astros will host Jackson Pype and the Make-A-Wish Foundation for a special day at the ballpark. Jackson will participate in several special experiences and will spend time with Astros players prior to Monday's 7:10 p.m. matchup.
Tuesday, April 24 vs. LA Angels - 7:10 p.m.
Prior to Tuesday's evening contest, the Astros Foundation and Gardner Denver will welcome Houston Fire Department Station 41, located at 805 Pearl Street, into the Adopt-A-Fire Station program, which seeks to support local first responders and the work they do in the Houston community. The program connects Houston fire stations and Astros players by their corresponding jersey numbers. On Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., Astros pitcher Brad Peacock, who wears jersey #41, and Astros broadcasting legend Bill Brown will present a framed jersey and visit with Houston Fire Department Station 41 first responders.
Every Tuesday night home game is $1 Hot Dog Night presented by Nolan Ryan Beef! Fans can purchase an unlimited number of Nolan Ryan Beef hot dogs at $1 each while supplies last (limit of four per person per concession visit).
Wednesday, April 25 vs. LA Angels - 1:10 p.m.
On April 25, the Astros will host Career Day presented by Houston Community College. Local high school and college students will be invited out to the ballpark for presentations, featuring special guests from the Astros front office, followed by the afternoon ballgame.
Additionally, Miss America 2018 Cara Mund will throw out a ceremonial first pitch prior to Wednesday's afternoon matchup.
Friday, April 27 vs. Oakland A's - 7:10 p.m.
Fans are invited to enjoy baseball and beer at the annual Baseball on Tap event, presented by Budweiser, on Friday, April 27. Tastings of more than 20+ beers will be available, as well as live music, video games, bar games and more. The special ticket package, which includes a Baseball on Tap can-shaped pint glass (first 500 attendees) and a Baseball on Tap passport valid for four (4) 3 oz. beer tastings plus a full beer, will take place from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. before the Astros take on the Oakland A's at 7:10 p.m. New this season is the VIP Brewmaster Package, which includes exclusive opportunities to taste different beers and learn more about the brewing process. The VIP package also includes an additional giveaway item - a flight paddle complete with four (4) tasting glasses. For fans who already have a ticket to Friday's game, add-on tickets for Baseball on Tap are available for purchase. Fans who can't make it to the pregame Baseball on Tap event but still want to enjoy beer and baseball can participate in the Baseball on Tap Beer Crawl. Starting when gates open, four (4) select locations around the park will offer select beers that fans can purchase and receive an Astros token. Once a fan collects all four tokens, they can redeem their tokens at the Budweiser Brewhouse for an Astros Bottle Opener. Prior to Friday's game, the Astros Foundation and Baseball Tomorrow Fund will host a field maintenance clinic at Minute Maid Park for local area youth baseball and softball organizations.
Big and Bright Friday Nights return to Minute Maid Park this Friday with a special Pregame Happy Hour presented by Budweiser at the Budweiser Brew House, where fans can enjoy $6, 16oz Budweiser Signature Draft beer and food specials, a live DJ, corn hole, jenga, and more from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. before every Friday night home game.

To cap off Big and Bright Friday Night, fans are invited to stay after the game for Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Occidental Petroleum. This Friday's fireworks display will be set to a musical theme of new pop music. Upon conclusion of Friday's game and prior to the start of Friday Night Fireworks, fans will be asked to move from the following sections for their safety and enjoyment: Home Run Alley, Escalator Tower Stairs in Center Field, Budweiser Brew House Tiers, Budweiser Batter's Eye Bar, Torchy's Deck, Crawford Boxes and sections 100-109, 205-208, 305-309, and 405-409.
Saturday, April 28 vs. Oakland A's - 6:10 p.m.
Prior to Saturday's 6:10 p.m. contest, 10,000 fans will receive a Jose Altuve AL MVP bobblehead presented by H-E-B. Fans are encouraged to arrive at the ballpark early to receive any promotional giveaways, as supplies are limited and not guaranteed. However, fans will not be allowed to line up for giveaways prior to 8:00 a.m. on any giveaway day this season.
Please note that all gates for Saturday's matchup will open at 3:00 p.m. Fans will have access to the Main Concourse at that time and the full ballpark will be accessible starting at 4:00 p.m.
The Astros annual Bayou Bash is back this Saturday, April 28, with a special Cajun-themed Street Fest featuring crawfish available for sale, live music by Houston's own Bayou City Brass Band, cold beer, games, inflatables, and more. Bayou Bash kicks off at 3:00 p.m. and goes until 6:00 p.m., right before first pitch. Please note, all fans attending Bayou Bash must have an April 28 game ticket.

Sunday, April 29 vs. Oakland A's - 1:10 p.m.
The Houston Astros are teaming up with the Baseball Tomorrow Fund (BTF) to host an equipment drive on April 29, prior to the Astros vs. Athletics game. Fans are invited to donate new and used equipment, which will benefit Sinton Little League. In conjunction with the equipment drive, the Baseball Tomorrow Fund will donate $5,000 to the Sinton Little League for the purchase of new equipment. In addition, Dickinson Little League will receive a $10,000 grant through the BTF/MLB Field Maintenance Education Program. Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick, BTF's Player Ambassador, will be on hand to present a ceremonial check to representatives from both Sinton and Dickinson Little Leagues during a pregame ceremony.
Prior to Sunday's first pitch, 10,000 fans will receive a World Series Champions Tote Bag presented by MLB Network.
Monday, April 30 vs. New York Yankees - 7:10 p.m.
Prior to Monday's contest, Astros outfielder George Springer will join representatives from The Scotts Company, The Home Depot, Major League Baseball and the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony of the newly-refurbished field at SpringSpirit Baseball Complex. Springer will visit with some of the young ballplayers who are benefitting from the new field after the ribbon-cutting, which media are welcome to attend.
Tuesday, May 1 vs. New York Yankees - 7:10 p.m.

Prior to Wednesday's matchup, Phillips 66 will be recognized in a pregame ceremony for their support of the Astros Foundation Literacy Bus. Launched in 2017, the Literacy Bus presented by Phillips 66 distributes books to children around the Houston area and encourages family reading. Astros Foundation Executive Director Twila Carter will join representatives from Phillips 66 on the field.
Thursday, May 3 vs. New York Yankees - 1:10 p.m.
The Astros wrap up the 10-game homestand with an afternoon game vs. the New York Yankees.
