Marwin day to day with right knee soreness

Astros LF exits vs. Sox after tweaking knee making leaping catch

June 3rd, 2018

HOUSTON -- Astros infielder/outfielder is listed as day to day after leaving Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Red Sox after three innings with right knee soreness. Astros manager AJ Hinch said there's a chance Gonzalez could even play in Sunday's series finale.
Gonzalez came up limping after making a leaping catch at the left-field wall and making contact with the base of the wall with his cleat. replaced him in left field for the remainder of the game.
"He came down awkwardly off the wall on the great catch and I guess jammed his knee a little bit into the ground," Hinch said. "I know he hit his heel first is what he said, and just kind of jammed his knee. I think it scared him a little bit because of the sensation of what he felt. We had him checked out. He should be day to day."
Gonzalez was shown on replays wincing in pain as he walked with a noticeable limp in Houston's dugout before heading to the clubhouse.

In his only at-bat Saturday against , Gonzalez clanged an RBI triple into a nook in left-center field, and the ball kicked away from a pair of chasing outfielders for his first three-bagger of the season.
