Astros return to Minute Maid Park for three against Arizona, Sept. 17-19

HOUSTON, Texas – The Astros return to Minute Maid Park for a three-game weekend series against the Arizona Diamondbacks, September 17-19.

The Astros will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Weekend, presented by H-E-B, all weekend. Saturday’s game will feature a Hispanic Heritage Street Festival presented by H-E-B from 3-6 p.m. with live music, food trucks, yard games, face painters and caricaturists. A pregame ceremony on Saturday will highlight and celebrate our players’ Latin and Hispanic roots. Other highlights of the weekend include a Jose Altuve replica white jersey, Yordan Alvarez replica orange jersey and a Yordan Alvarez ‘Back2Back’ Bobblehead.

Friday, Sept. 17 vs. Arizona Diamondbacks – 7:10 p.m. CT

The Astros open up the three-game series vs. the Diamondbacks on Friday, Sept. 17 with first pitch set for 7:10 p.m. CT. 10,000 fans will receive a Jose Altuve White Jersey presented by H-E-B. Friday will begin a three-day long celebration at the ballpark for Hispanic Heritage Weekend, presented by H-E-B.

During every Friday Night home game at the Michelob Ultra Club, fans can enjoy the Pregame Happy Hour presented by Budweiser from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Fans can enjoy $5 Ultra Drafts, a live DJ and amazing views from the Michelob Ultra Bar. Big and Bright Friday Night Fireworks presented by ConocoPhilips is also on deck, with a Tejano music theme as the Astros celebrate Hispanic Heritage Weekend. Saturday, Sept. 18 vs. Arizona Diamondbacks – 6:10 p.m. CT

The series with the Diamondbacks continues Saturday, Sept. 18 at 6:10 p.m. CT. 10,000 fans will receive a Yordan Alvarez Replica Orange Jersey presented by Exclusive Furniture.

The Astros continue to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Weekend, presented by H-E-B, with a Hispanic Heritage Street Festival from 3-6 p.m. that features live music, food trucks, yard games, face painters and caricaturists. A game ticket for Saturday’s game vs. the Diamondbacks is needed to access the street festival.

The Astros will also celebrate the Latin and Hispanic roots of Astros players in a pregame ceremony and Rice University’s Mariachi Luna Llena will be performing the national anthem as part of Hispanic Heritage Weekend.

The Astros and Houston Methodist are hosting a blood drive on Saturday from 3-6:30 p.m. in Union Station-2nd floor. Both ticketed and non-ticketed fans can participate in the blood drive, presented by Houston Methodist. Donors will receive a free t-shirt

Sunday, Sept. 19 vs. Arizona Diamondbacks – 1:10 p.m. CT

The Astros will finish off the three-game homestand and Hispanic Heritage Weekend with a 1:10 p.m. CT first pitch against the Diamondbacks on Sunday, Sept. 19. 10,00 fans will receive a Yordan Alvarez ‘Back2Back’ Bobblehead, presented by H-E-B.

The Astros will honor Prisoner of War (POW)/Missing in Action (MIA) Recognition Weekend on Sunday with a color guard and special national anthem.

José Cruz Jr. will throw out a ceremonial first pitch on Sunday to recognize and celebrate his new role as the head baseball coach at his alma mater, Rice University.

Kids ages 5-12 can stick around for Kids Run the Bases presented by Securian Financial after the completion of the game.
