Swingin' A's Activities
The first era of the A’s in Oakland, known as the “Swingin’ A’s,” won three consecutive World Series championships in the early 1970s. This dynasty had bright uniforms, white shoes, and unique facial hair with Hall of Famers like Rollie Fingers, Dennis Eckersley, Catfish Hunter, Reggie Jackson, and Dick Williams.

Summer Slugger, an A's education initiative, helps prevent the 'summer slide' by offering kids ages 8-12 years old baseball-themed games that reinforce key math and literacy skills. Have your child create their own customized avatar to guide them through the games and help them earn points and progress-based rewards.
