A's announce four roster moves

OAKLAND, Calif. – The Oakland A’s optioned right-handed pitcher Neil Wagner, infielder Chris Carter and outfielder Michael Taylor to Triple-A Sacramento, the club announced today.  The A’s also reassigned left-handed pitcher Erick Threets, a non-roster invitee to their minor league camp.

The A’s now have 41 active players in camp.  That includes 34 players on the 40-man roster and seven non-roster invitees.  The breakdown includes 19 pitchers, five catchers, eight infielders and nine outfielders.  The A’s have 40 players on the 40-man roster plus Brett Anderson and Scott Sizemore, who are on the 60-day disabled list.
