A's expand Community Ticket Program

March 20th, 2018

OAKLAND, Calif. -- As a part of the A's continued efforts to connect with Oakland and Bay Area communities, the team on Tuesday announced that it is expanding its Community Ticket Program, which provides tickets free of charge to charitable organizations throughout the Bay Area and Northern California.
"Initiatives like these underpin one of the visions our team has, which is to make A's games accessible and inclusive to all members of our community," said Catherine Aker, vice president of communications and community for the A's. "This program allows us to welcome individuals and organizations to our ballpark who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend our games."
The Community Ticket Program is in partnership with the Commissioner's Community Initiative and MLB Players Give Back Program. The A's encourage schools, community groups and nonprofit organizations to apply for tickets using the online application at athletics.com/communitytickets.
