Canha has wrist surgery, should be ready by ST

Outfielder underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right wrist on Tuesday, the Athletics announced, and he is expected to be ready to fully participate in Spring Training.
Canha, 28, had a cyst removed from his wrist by Dr. Steven Shin at the Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in Los Angeles.
Canha hit .208/.262/.382 during the 2017 season with five home runs in 187 plate apperances. He also slashed .283/.373/.529 with 12 home runs in 317 plate appearances for Triple-A Nashville.
Canha, who played at least 19 games at all three outfield positions while also appearing in three games first last season, is expected to compete for a bench role with the A's in 2018.
