Oakland A's right-handed pitcher Chris Hatcher has been outrighted to Triple-A Nashville. He was designated for assignment on Aug. 10 after the acquisition of right-handed pitcher Fernando Rodney from Minnesota.
Hatcher, 33, was 3-2 with a 4.24 ERA (16 ER, 34.0 IP) with 28 strikeouts in 30 relief appearances for Oakland this season. Since joining Oakland via trade on Aug. 15, 2017, he is 4-3 with one save and a 3.95 ERA (25 ER, 57.0 IP) with 48 strikeouts in 53 relief appearances.
