OAKLAND, Calif. — The A’s announced today that right-handed pitcher Brent Honeywell was reinstated from the 60-day injured list, cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A Las Vegas. 

Honeywell was acquired from the Tampa Bay Rays for cash considerations on Nov. 19, 2021. He allowed seven runs over 4.0 innings in two Spring Training games before being placed on the 60-day injured list with a right elbow stress reaction on April 7. Honeywell appeared in two games with Low-A Stockton and six games with Las Vegas on a rehab assignment, allowing 11 runs over 11.2 innings while walking four and striking out 11 across the eight outings.
