OAKLAND, Calif. — The Oakland A’s outrighted right-handed pitcher Daulton Jefferies to Triple-A Las Vegas, the club announced today.

Jefferies picked up the win in his first start of the season in 2022 but then lost each of his next seven starts before going on the injured list in mid-May.  He missed the remainder of the season after undergoing thoracic outlet surgery on June 13 and “Tommy John” surgery for the second time in his career on September 9.  The 27-year-old right-hander was 1-7 with a 5.72 ERA and .767 opponents OPS in his eight starts.

The A’s now have three available spots on the 40-man roster.
