Fans can virtually be at A’s game this season with Coliseum Cutouts

$49 for Access members, $89 for fans; proceeds benefiting the Oakland A’s Community Fund

June 30th, 2020

OAKLAND, Calif. – This season, Oakland A’s fans have the chance to grab a seat at the Coliseum next to an A’s legend, Harvey the Rabbit, or Stomper through the team’s Coliseum Cutouts program. Cutouts are $49 each for Access members, $89 each for general fans, or $129 for a Foul Ball Zone cutout. Fans should purchase at athletics.com/cutouts by Sunday, July 5, to ensure their image will be ready for Opening Day. Proceeds will benefit the Alameda County Community Food Bank, East Oakland Youth Development Center, and Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce.

Fans can send in a photo of themselves in A’s gear to be added to a cardboard cutout. Coliseum Cutouts will be authenticated and recognized by MLB as official “virtual fans,” and will be placed in seats throughout the ballpark for the 2020 regular season. If a Foul Ball Zone cutout gets hit with a foul ball, the A’s will send a ball to the fan on the cutout. Fans will also have an option to pick up their cutout following the season. The A’s will include images of former players and local celebrities alongside images of fans in the stands.

The A’s will open the 2020 season in late July. In accordance with local health and safety guidelines, fans will not be permitted to attend games at the Coliseum. Along with Coliseum Cutouts, the A’s will offer fans opportunities to be part of the action while enjoying games from home.

With the purchase of a Coliseum Cutout, fans will also receive two complimentary tickets to the A’s first home exhibition game during the 2021 season. Proceeds from Coliseum Cutouts will benefit the Alameda County Community Food Bank, East Oakland Youth Development Center, and Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce. For more information and to purchase a Coliseum Cutout, visit athletics.com/cutouts.
