What do I need in order to listen to live games on my Alexa device?
In order to use the skill, you must have a registered MLB.com account, which has an active subscription to At Bat Premium or MLB.TV Premium. When you access the MLB skill for the first time, you will be asked to link your MLB.com account. If you log in without an active subscription, you may purchase At Bat Premium, then return to the Alexa App, and tap the "link account" card again to complete linking your account. You may not use the skill until you have logged in with your MLB.com account, with an applicable subscription, and completed the account linking step using the Alexa App.
What if I already subscribed to At Bat Premium using in-app purchase?
If you subscribed to At Bat Premium using in-app purchase, you can access live games on your Alexa device by linking your MLB.com account to your At Bat app. To do this, launch the At Bat app; go to the "more" tab or section; choose "settings"; and tap "Connect Purchase To MLB.com". Follow the instructions there, then return to the Alexa App; tap "link account"; and log in with your MLB.com username and password. You should then see a confirmation that your skill has been successfully linked.
What if I get MLB.TV Premium through my pay TV provider?
To listen on your Alexa device, you must link your qualifying pay TV provider account to your MLB.com login. Go to mlb.com/tv/activate on your desktop browser and follow the instructions there. Once you've completed this step, return to the Alexa App and tap "link account", and log in with your MLB.com username and password. You should then see a confirmation that your skill has been successfully linked.
I previously used the MLB skill to listen to live games, but now it says I must link my account again. What do I do?
To start the linking process again, you can say to your Alexa device "tell MLB to link my account," and the skill will send the account linking card to your Alexa App. You can also trigger this by disabling and re-enabling the MLB skill in the Alexa App. From here, log in to the MLB.com form again to re-link your account. You should then see a confirmation that your skill has been successfully linked.
How do I enable or disable the MLB skill on my Alexa?
