MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation is a joint initiative of Major League Baseball & the Major League Baseball Players Association with the drive to expand the access of youth participation in baseball and softball.
At the 1999 World Series, the Baseball Tomorrow Fund began with a $10 million commitment by MLB and the MLBPA. Since that time, both parties have agreed to additional, annual contributions that have more than tripled the original commitment.
In 2015, the MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation was established and announced a commitment of $30 million toward improving the caliber, effectiveness and availability of amateur baseball and softball programs across the United States and Canada.
In late 2018, the Baseball Tomorrow Fund merged under the MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation as a grant program.
