What is Winter Fest?

Winter Fest is a brand new event in Toronto that celebrates Blue Jays fans and the game of baseball. Fans of all ages will have access to the Blue Jays and Rogers Centre like never before, with select player, rookie, and alumni appearances, front office and coaching staff, Sportsnet personalities, a Jr. Jays Park, live entertainment, baseball-themed games and activations, ballpark tours, field access, and more.

How does Winter Fest differ from Winter Tour?

Winter Fest is a one-day fan event at Rogers Centre in Toronto that celebrates the game of baseball for Blue Jays fans of all ages. With Winter Tour, we have been able to reach so many Blue Jays fans from coast-to-coast. We wanted to do the same for our fans in Toronto and the GTA, which is why we decided to create Winter Fest.

Is there a community/charitable element to Winter Fest?

Giving back to the community through events like Winter Fest is incredibly important to us. A portion of proceeds from Winter Fest ticket sales will go to Jays Care Foundation. In addition, Jays Care staff will be hosting a Garage Sale at Winter Fest featuring Blue Jays memorabilia and collectibles for purchase

How much do Winter Fest tickets cost?

Fans wishing to attend Winter Fest will need to purchase tickets to the event. Pricing is tiered for adults ($20), youth & seniors ($5), Season Ticket Members ($10), and 20 & 12 Game Pack Members ($15).

How do fans buy tickets?

Season Ticket Members and 20 & 12 Game Pack Members have received instructions to purchase discounted tickets via email. If you are a Season Ticket or Game Pack Member and have not received the special link, please reach out to your ticketing rep. General public tickets are available for purchase on bluejays.com/winterfest  or by phone at 416-341-1234.

What are you doing for Season Ticket Members?

Season Ticket Members will receive exclusive benefits, including admission half-priced ticket, access to a Season Ticket Member lounge, a 20% discount at Jays Shop, and three exclusive Diamond Talks events featuring Q&A sessions with notable members of the Blue Jays organization.

What players will be attending Winter Fest?

Players, rookies, and alumni attending Winter Fest will be announced in the coming weeks.

What are the hours of Winter Fest?

Doors will open at 10 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. Going to be late? No problem! The activities of Winter Fest will take place throughout the duration of the day.

It's going to be cold outside, but I don't want to carry my jacket around all day. Is there a place that I can check my coat inside Winter Fest?

Absolutely -- we want you to be comfortable! We will have a coat check booth open at each entrance (Gate 6 & 10) to Winter Fest that is free of charge.

I am bringing my toddler and they have a stroller. Is there a place where I can put the stroller for the day?

Rogers Centre welcomes guests that bring and utilize their own strollers and will provide stroller check; however, the use of strollers should not in any way inhibit guest movement or block aisles. Strollers are not available to rent. Strollers may be subject to search by event staff.

What if I get hungry during the event, is there food available for purchase?

You won't go hungry at Winter Fest! We will have full concessions open on the 100 level concourse, as well as opportunities to purchase food and beverages on field level.

As much as I love ballpark food, is it possible for me to bring food and drinks from home?

Rogers Centre does allow guests to bring their own food as long as the items are wrapped, bagged or left inside a container to avoid spillage. Cans, glass bottles, aluminum/steel water bottles or drinks larger than 600 ml are not permitted.

How do I get one of those awesome winter giveaway hats?

Don't worry! All fans who enter Rogers Centre on January 20 will receive an exclusive Winter Fest hat presented by TD.

What is your re-entry policy?

The Toronto Blue Jays have a no re-entry policy at Winter Fest (including smoking). Once a guest has left Rogers Centre, they are not permitted back into Winter Fest.

Where can I see a layout of Winter Fest before I get there?

A map of Winter Fest will be available at bluejays.com/winterfest  in the coming weeks.

Are the activities at Winter Fest free?

All of the activities at Winter Fest are free for fans to participate in. Food and beverages are available for purchase.

How do the kids-only photos with players work?

Kids 14 years of age and under will be able to line up to have their photo taken with current Blue Jays players, rookies and alumni. One (1) parent or guardian is permitted to stand with their children in line; however, parents and guardians are not allowed to seek photos for themselves. There will be a cut-off when the time runs out or when a Blue Jays staff member believes they cannot facilitate any more fans through the line in a timely fashion. No other fans will be allowed a photo past that point. Photos will be taken on a first come, first served basis. One photo per child, per player. No additional ticket required.

How do the fan photos with players work?

There will be a cut-off when the time runs out or when a Blue Jays staff member believes they cannot facilitate any more fans through the line in a timely fashion. No other fans will be allowed a photo past that point.One photo per fan, per player. No additional ticket required.

How do the Sportsnet Talent and Coaches Autograph Sessions work?

For each autograph session, Sportsnet talent and members of the Blue Jays coaching staff will sign for a specified window of time. There will be a cut-off when the time runs out or when a Blue Jays staff member believes they cannot facilitate any more fans through the line in a timely fashion. No other fans will be allowed an autograph past that point. Autographs are given on a first come, first served basis. One autograph, per person, per personnel.

Will I need to fill out a waiver for any of the activities at Winter Fest?

All fans participating in physical interactives (Catch & Throw, Skating & the Roof Tour) will be required to complete a waiver prior to participating. Paper-form waivers will be available at each activity.

Can I purchase a 2018 Season Ticket Membership, Game Pack at Winter Fest and/or Luxury Suite?

You definitely can! Blue Jays Season Ticket Memberships,Game Packs and Luxury Suites will be available for purchase at the Blue Jays Ticketing booth located in the Visitors Dugout on field level.

Can I purchase Blue Jays merchandise at Winter Fest?

Jays Shop - our official team store at Gate 5 - will be open exclusively for those attending Winter Fest.

I didn't get a ticket for one of the autograph sessions. Will I still have a chance to meet any players?

Yes, you still have a chance! Current Blue Jays players, rookies and alumni will be participating in many activities throughout Winter Fest, including main stage programming, hanging out in our gaming room and selfie station, as well as taking photos at our two different photo stations, one for kids 14 & under and one for all fans! There will be a cut-off when the time runs out or when a Blue Jays staff member believes they cannot facilitate any more fans through the lines in a timely fashion. No other fans will be allowed a photo past that point.

Will there be activities for kids?

Absolutely! There will be activities dedicated to our littlest fans at the Jr. Jays Park, plus family-friendly programming throughout the ballpark, including player, rookie, and alumni appearances, front office and coaching staff, Sportsnet personalities, interactive experiences, live entertainment, baseball-themed games and activations, tours, field access and more.

Accessibility

Rogers Centre and the Toronto Blue Jays are committed to identifying, removing and preventing barriers to accessibility and inclusion.

Drop off/Pick-up

The designated drop off/pick-up location for guests with accessible needs is Rogers Centre Gate 7, located on the south side of the building, close to Bremner Blvd.

Elevators

Elevators are available to provide access between levels and to various gate lobbies.

Winter Fest is a fully accessible event however, due to the location of the Roof Tour, Rogers Centre cannot safely provide accessible access.

Bags

Guests are welcome to bring their bags inside Rogers Centre when they attend Toronto Blue Jays games. Soft-sided bags such as diaper bags, small backpacks and small purses are permitted, whereas hard-sided coolers, bags and containers are not. In accordance with Major League Baseball security regulations, any bag larger than 16 inches by 16 inches by 8 inches will not be permitted into Rogers Centre. All bags will be thoroughly inspected before they are allowed inside the facility. MLB approved bins will be used at inspection points, and bags and their contents must fit without assistance, modification or adjustment. To ensure guest safety, the Toronto Blue Jays reserve the right to inspect any bags or articles prior to entry into Rogers Centre and may refuse admittance of any item deemed hazardous, inappropriate, offensive or suspicious.

Gate Entry

Entry gates for Winter Fest are Gate 5 on the East side of the building, and Gate 11 on the West side of the building and Gate 7 for accessibility entrance. All other gates will remain closed for the duration of this event.
