Blue Jays acquire player to be named later from Cleveland Indians for 3B Josh Donaldson

The Toronto Blue Jays have acquired a player to be named later from the Cleveland Indians in exchange for 3B Josh Donaldson.

Donaldson, 32, hit .270 (112-for-415) with 21 doubles, 33 home runs, and 78 RBI in 2017. The 6-1, 210lb. right-handed hitter has a career batting average of .275, with 179 home runs, 544 RBI, and an OPS of .873 in eight seasons with the Blue Jays and Athletics.
