Blue Jays roster moves

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have made the following roster moves; RHP AARON SANCHEZ and RHP ESMIL ROGERS have had their contracts selected from Buffalo, while SS RYAN GOINS has been recalled from the Bisons. OF DARIN MASTROIANNI and C ERIK KRATZ have been optioned to Buffalo and LHP BRAD MILLS has been designated for assignment.

SANCHEZ , 22, has split time between New Hampshire (AA) and Buffalo (AAA) this season making 22 appearances (20 starts). The right-hander has posted a 3-7 record with a 3.95 ERA, allowing just 88 hits over 100.1 innings, with 57 walks and 84 strikeouts. The 34th overall selection in the 2010 draft has recorded a 3.51 ERA in 93 career outings, allowing only 291 hits over his 356.1 innings.

ROGERS , 28, began the season in a Blue Jays uniform, recording 6.97 ERA in 16 relief appearances. Since joining the Bisons has posted a 3.14 ERA in 12 games, including seven starts.

GOINS, 26, returns for a 2nd stint with the Blue Jays after posting a .150 average in 24 games to begin the season. As a Bison, has appeared in 79 games, primarily at 2nd base, batting .285 with 16 extra base hits.
