Reyes to play at least one more Triple-A game

TORONTO -- Jose Reyes will spend at least one more game with the Buffalo Bisons before making his long-awaited return to the Major Leagues.

Triple-A Buffalo announced early Sunday evening that Reyes will be in its lineup for a game vs. Durham on Monday night. He's expected to start at shortstop after making an appearance at designated hitter on Sunday.

Reyes went 2-for-5 with a pair of singles in his third game for Buffalo on Sunday afternoon. He is now batting .364 (8-for-22) in six games between the Bisons and Class A Dunedin.

"We haven't decided anything," Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said after being asked when Reyes would re-join the Blue Jays.

During an interview with MLB Network Radio on Sunday, Toronto general manager Alex Anthopoulos hinted Reyes' return might not come until the club travels to Boston on Thursday for the start of a four-game series.

"We'll evaluate it day by day," Anthopoulos said. "That might change at any time. He feels like he's getting close."
