Atlanta Braves Agree To Terms With 24 Players

The Atlanta Braves announced today that they have agreed to terms with 24 players on one-year contracts for the 2012 season. Included in the group are right-handed pitchers Jairo Asencio, Brandon Beachy, Jaye Chapman, Erik Cordier, Randall Delgado, Cory Gearrin, Tommy Hanson, J.J. Hoover, Craig Kimbrel, Cristhian Martinez, Kris Medlen, Todd Redmond, Julio Teheran, Anthony Varvaro and Arodys Vizcaino; left-handed pitchers Luis Avilan, Robert Fish, Mike Minor and Jonny Venters; infielders Freddie Freeman, Brandon Hicks and Tyler Pastornicky; and outfielders Jose Constanza and Jason Heyward.  Financial terms were not disclosed.
