Braves announce National League Division Series Roster

Roster includes 14 players with postseason experience

The Atlanta Braves today announced their 25-man roster for the National League Division Series. The postseason roster includes 11 pitchers, three catchers, five infielders and six outfielders. In addition, 14 players on the roster have previous postseason experience, including three who have appeared in the World Series. There are four rookies on the squad.

The Braves and Dodgers play Games One and Two of the National League Division Series at Turner Field tomorrow (Thursday) night at 8:37 p.m. and on Friday, October 4th at 6:07 p.m. The two clubs will travel to Los Angeles for Game Three on Sunday, October 6th (time TBA).

The Division Series roster:

PITCHERS (11): Luis Avilan (LH), Luis Ayala (RH), David Carpenter (RH), Freddy Garcia (RH), David Hale (RH), Craig Kimbrel (RH), Kris Medlen (RH), Mike Minor (LH), Julio Teheran (RH), Jordan Walden (RH) and Alex Wood (LH)

CATCHERS (3): Evan Gattis, Gerald Laird and Brian McCann

INFIELDERS (5): Freddie Freeman, Paul Janish, Chris Johnson, Elliot Johnson and Andrelton Simmons

OUTFIELDERS (6): Jose Constanza, Jason Heyward, Reed Johnson, Jordan Schafer, B.J. Upton and Justin Upton
