Major League Baseball announced today that it has approved a roster substitution for the Atlanta Braves due to a positive COVID-19 test for Jorge Soler. As a result, Soler will be replaced by outfielder Cristian Pache on Atlanta’s Division Series roster.

In accordance with MLB Postseason rules, Pache may remain on the active roster until Soler is approved to be reinstated from the COVID-19 Related Injured List.
