Crew goes 'Back to the Future' with spoof

July 3rd, 2020

Baseball is back, and so are the Brewers’ odes to Hollywood.

Milwaukee’s film “Crew” released its adaptation of "Back to the Future" on Friday -- the 35th anniverasary of the film -- as the team prepares to open Summer Camp this week.

Starring front and center, with a Dr. Emmett Brown wig to boot, is Brewers lefty Brent Suter -- who you might remember was the leading man for Milwaukee’s previous adaptations of Dumb and Dumber and Mean Girls. The Brewers also spoofed The Sandlot prior to the 2018 season.

Playing the lead role of Marty McFly: second baseman Keston Hiura, who is fresh off a huge rookie season for Milwaukee. And the Delorean is played by none other than the Brewers’ high-tech bullpen cart, which can crank all the way up to Suter’s top speed of … 88 mph.

Make sure you carve out two minutes for the Brewers’ latest instant classic.
