Daniel Fumai named Brewers chief financial officer

The Milwaukee Brewers have named Daniel Fumai (Few-MAY) chief financial officer. Fumai will assume his role on February 19. The announcement was made by Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger.

The Milwaukee Brewers have named Daniel Fumai (Few-MAY) chief financial officer. Fumai will assume his role on February 19. The announcement was made by Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger.
 
"We are pleased to bring Daniel on board as the newest member of the Brewers' senior executive team," said Schlesinger. "Daniel brings a wealth of experience to our organization and has been an integral member of several top performing companies."
 
Fumai will manage the entirety of the financial operations for the Milwaukee Brewers, Class-A Carolina Mudcats and Performance Clean. He joins the organization from ANC Sports Enterprises, where he served as executive vice president of finance and chief operating officer since 2008. Prior to that role, he worked for the San Diego Padres from 2003-2008 as vice president of finance and controller. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, working in several key positions from 1992-2003.
 
"The Brewers have a tremendous ownership group and management team, and it is an exciting time to join the organization," said Fumai. "I look forward to utilizing my experience in and out of baseball to assist ownership and management in building on its success."
 
Fumai is a graduate of Boston University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is originally from Floral Park, New York and currently resides in Manhattan. He will be relocating to the Milwaukee area.
