Dodgers, White Sox report to camp for 2019

Camelback Ranch - Glendale (CR-G) begins its second decade as the spring home of the Chicago White Sox and defending National League-champion Los Angeles Dodgers at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Febr. 13, when the campus opens to fans for the first pitchers and catchers workouts.

Full-squad workouts begin the following week: Monday morning, Feb. 18 (White Sox), and Tuesday morning, Feb. 19 (Dodgers).

Daily Workouts Free to the Public

No Spring Training experience is complete without a trip to the practice fields beyond the main stadium. Beginning at 9 a.m. most days (2 p.m. for 6:05 p.m. games and 3 p.m. for 7:05 p.m. games), White Sox and Dodgers practice fields are open to the public. Whether you want to try and score an autograph or just get closer to your favorite players than you've ever been before, make plans to come early and enjoy the picturesque grounds at Camelback Ranch-Glendale. Daily workouts on the practice fields are free to the public, but tickets are required for all games in the stadium. Stadium gates open 90 minutes prior to first pitch.

Cactus League Baseball at The Ranch

CR-G hosts a 30-game schedule in 2019 which features Cactus League baseball daily at The Ranch beginning Saturday, Feb. 23, and concluding Sunday, March 24.

The Dodgers and White Sox face each other four times, beginning with their traditional Opening Day meeting at 1:05 p.m on Saturday, Feb. 23. Their three other meetings are Wednesday, March 13 (7:05 p.m.) and the schedule's final two Saturdays (March 16 and 23).

The hometown Arizona Diamondbacks visit CR-G twice; as do the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Angels and San Francisco Giants, rivals of the White Sox and Dodgers. The D-backs play at Camelback Ranch on Wednesday, March 20 (White Sox), and Friday, March 22 (Dodgers). The Cubs travel to Glendale to challenge the Dodgers on Monday, Feb. 25, and the White Sox on Friday, March 15. The Angels and Dodgers tangle on Sunday, Feb. 24; the Halos visit The Ranch again on Monday, March 4, to face the White Sox. And the Giants visit The Ranch on consecutive Mondays (March 11 and 18) to square off with the Dodgers and White Sox, respectively.

Rounding out the 2019 slate of games at CR-G are appearances by the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland Athletics, San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers.
