St. Louis is currently 1.0 game ahead of San Diego and 1.5 games in front of Cincinnati for the second NL Wild Card spot. Roberto Clemente Award Nominee Presentation: Before the game, Paul Goldschmidt will be recognized as the team’s 2021 Roberto Clemente Award nominee. The annual award recognizes a player from each team who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field. It is the most prominent individual player award bestowed by MLB. Fans can vote for Goldy as the overall winner of the Roberto Clemente Award at mlb.com/clemente21.

Honorary First Pitch: Comedian and podcaster Theo Von will throw out a ceremonial first pitch before tonight’s game.

Flashback Friday & Artifact Spotlight: Before every Friday home game, the Cardinals Museum hosts two presentations, one highlighting artifacts in the museum’s collection not currently on display at 4:00 PM and another featuring intimate and candid interviews with former Cardinals alumni and personnel at 4:30 PM. 2011 World Series 10th Anniversary Reunion: Over 30 members of the 2011 World Series championship team will take part in a pregame ceremony beginning at approximately 5:30 PM. Players will parade along the Busch Stadium warning track in Ford F-150 trucks and be individually introduced at home plate. The ceremony will conclude with a ceremonial first pitch and a team photo with the World Series trophy at home plate. Presented by Heartland Coca-Cola.

CELEBRATING MIKE SHANNON’S 50 YEARS IN THE BROADCAST BOOTH

The St. Louis Cardinals continue their season-long campaign to honor radio broadcaster Mike Shannon throughout his 50th and final season in the broadcast booth, presented by Budweiser.

As of the start of this homestand, the “Voice of the Cardinals” is scheduled to call seven more regular season games at Busch Stadium, including all three of this weekend’s games vs. San Diego.

The club will honor Shannon before the final regular season game on Sunday, October 3, and will have a t-shirt promotional gate giveaway for 20,000 fans, ages 16 and older, courtesy of Phillips 66.

Concession locations will only accept credit/debit cards and digital wallet payments (e.g. Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay) for payment. Guests can purchase a debit card using cash at the three Schnucks Grab ‘N’ Go Markets inside Busch Stadium with no fees. Debit cards are good at any location that accepts credit cards at the ballpark and any retailer outside the stadium.

Fans can now purchase individual game day parking directly from the Cardinals in the Starr Lot located directly across the street from Gate 2, on the southwest side of Busch Stadium. Starr Lot parking can be purchased as part of your overall ticket purchase, or separately at cardinals.com/parking.

The Busch Stadium Box Office is open on game days from 10 AM until one and a half hours after the scheduled game time. On non-game days, the Box Office is open Monday–Friday from 10 AM–5 PM. Transactions at the Box Office will be cashless. Fans can inquire about tickets by calling 314-345-9000.

RE-ENTRY & SMOKING GATENEW FOR 2021
In order to provide the safest environment for all guests and staff, guests will not be permitted to exit and re-enter the facility during games. A designated smoking area is set up at Gate 1 to allow guests access in and out of the stadium if they wish to smoke. The designated smoking area is open from gate opening until the end of the 7th inning.
