The National College Baseball Hall of Fame Power Poll has a new No. 1 team for the third time in as many weeks as the Vanderbilt Commodores ascend to the peak for the Week 5 poll.

For the first time this season, the National College Baseball Hall of Fame Power Poll has a new leader as Ole Miss narrowly edged Vanderbilt and passed Texas to take the top spot.

Despite taking its first loss of the season Sunday, Texas remains the unanimous choice as the No. 1 team in this week’s National College Baseball Hall of Fame Power Poll.

The College Baseball Foundation is proud to present the inaugural College Baseball Hall of Fame Power Poll, which will rank the top 25 teams in Division I college baseball each week.

As the college baseball season nears its conclusion, the College Baseball Foundation (CBF) took the time to honor both past and present greats of the game with the 2021 Virtual Night of Champions. The video presentation became available here June 26 at 6 p.m. CDT.

Thanks to the growth and success of the College Baseball Foundation's three staple awards – the National Pitcher of the Year Award, the Brooks Wallace Award and the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award – the CBF is once again honoring the top players from 2021 with its All-American team.
