The 2019 MLB Community Meetings will be held November 6-7 at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas. This site will be home to all things Community Meetings and we encourage you to check back to this page, as it is developed, for more updates. View the meeting agenda »
Meeting schedule is 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on November 6, and 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on November 7, with breakfast starting each morning at 8 a.m. The entire group will gather as a collective on the first day, and the second day will feature two parallel tracks (Community and Youth Baseball & Softball, Foundation). A reception for all attendees will take place on the evening of November 6 at Sports & Social Arlington (1650 E Randol Mill Rd STE 120, Arlington, TX 76011).
For those interested or who may arrive early, MLB and Club colleagues will visit the Texas Rangers MLB Youth Academy on November 5 from 3 - 5 p.m. We will first tour the Academy and then engage in a volunteer activity. See more info below on the volunteer activity. Round-trip bus transportation will be provided from the host hotel Live! By Lowes and will depart at 2 p.m. and return after the visit concludes at 5 p.m. Due to high demand, Karin Morris and Juan Garciga will be available at 2:30 p.m. to meet with interested teams in a group setting for discussion around the Academy before the tour begins.

MLB and Club colleagues will come together for a volunteer activity at the Texas Rangers MLB Youth Academy on November 5 to support youth in need. In partnership with Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls, we will assemble and package nearly 300 pairs of brand new shoes and socks alongside goodwill notes, for distribution to Academy youth and children across Texas. New shoes put youth on a path to better health, greater access to education and critical services, and inspire hope. Since 1999, Buckner has distributed more than 3 million pairs of new shoes and socks to children in 82 countries.
