Cubs announce roster moves for November 30

The Chicago Cubs today announced the following roster moves for Friday, November 30, in conjunction with today's deadline to tender/non-tender 2019 contracts for unsigned players on their 40-man roster.

CHICAGO - The Chicago Cubs today announced the following roster moves for Friday, November 30, in conjunction with today's deadline to tender/non-tender 2019 contracts for unsigned players on their 40-man roster.
Seven arbitration-eligible players have been tendered 2019 contracts: infielders Javier Báez, Kris Bryant and Addison Russell; outfielder Kyle Schwarber; right-handed pitchers Carl Edwards Jr. and Kyle Hendricks; and left-handed pitcher Mike Montgomery. Overall, a total of 24 players from the Cubs 40-man roster were tendered 2019 contracts today - the seven arbitration eligible players listed above and 17 players not yet eligible for arbitration.
Infielder Ronald Torreyes has been non-tendered.
Two additional players have been non-tendered who were not eligible for arbitration: right-handed pitchers Justin Hancock and Allen Webster.
The Cubs 40-man roster now stands at 36 players.
