CHICAGO -- Outfielder Matthew Szczur's painting of the final out of Game 7 of the World Series was auctioned off for $35,000 at the Cubs' Bricks and Ivy Ball, held Wednesday night at Navy Pier. The event raised more than $2.2 million for Cubs Charities. Szczur was surprised at how much his painting garnered. He posted on Twitter: "Honored and humbled that my first painting was auctioned off for $35,000 for such a great cause. Thank you @cubs and cubs charities for allowing me to give back and be a part of something special."
