Community Nights FAQ

Important Note:

Valid, corresponding Community Night ticket(s) must be presented at the redemption location in order to redeem that night's item, if applicable. Your ticket(s) will include a designation that will allow you to redeem your ticket(s) for the giveaway. You will not be able to receive the item unless you present a valid Community Night ticket.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Will I receive the Community Night item if I purchase a regular game ticket?

No, you must purchase the specific game's Community Night ticket to receive the item. You can purchase tickets at Cubs.com/Communitynights or by calling 773-404-4242. 

How will I receive my giveaway item?

Community Night giveaway items can be collected on the day of the game at the redemption location. Items will be available for pickup from the redemption location until the end of the 5th inning. We will communicate the location of the redemption area via email prior to the game date in question. Make sure that you bring your Community Night ticket with you, as you will not be able to collect your item without it. If you are unable to pick up your item before the end of the 5th inning, please contact our Group Sales Team at 773-404-4242 to arrange a postgame pickup time.

Am I guaranteed to receive the Community Night item?

Yes. Unlike gate giveaways, where only the first 10,000 or so fans receive the promo item, every fan that purchases a Community Night ticket will be guaranteed the giveaway item (unless otherwise specified with a specific limit). Items are only guaranteed if claimed on the day of the Community Night.

Can I exchange regular game tickets for Community Night tickets if they are for the same game?

Unfortunately, there is not a process for exchanging regular game tickets for Community Night tickets.

Am I able to collect my item if I can't make it to the game?

Giveaway items are not guaranteed if they cannot be collected on the day of the Community Night. However, if supply allows, the Cubs will make every attempt to honor Community Night ticket redemptions after the game date. Please email fanservices@cubs.com to arrange a pickup time.
