Cubs Destinations FAQ

When will I receive my itinerary package with my game tickets and my special guest credentials?

The personalized itinerary will be emailed to you no later than one week prior to your trip. The itinerary will include confirmation numbers, timing for the scheduled events and other important information for the trip. If you are staying at a hotel with us your game tickets and credentials will be given to you upon check-in along with your gift bags. If you selected no hotel, your credentials and game tickets will be mailed no later than one week prior to your trip.

If you live international, the ticket and credentials will be in your gift bag at the hotel. We do not accept P.O. Boxes as shipping address, please provide a valid address during your registration that will accept FedEx packages.

What is in my gift bag? When can I expect to receive it?

Your standard gift bag will include a premium baseball material bag Cubs hat, a MLB game ball, ball holders for each guest and other special Cubs items. For an additional $100 ($60 for youth jerseys) you can upgrade your gift bag to include a Majestic Athletic Replica Jersey(s) of choice (size, style, and player.) You can retrieve your gift bag upon check-in at your selected hotel. If you choose to take part in Cubs Destinations without hotel accommodations, we will have your gift bag waiting upon arrival at the player reception.

What styles of Majestic Athletic Replica Jersey are available?

Should you upgrade to receive a Majestic Athletic Replica Jersey(s), it's available in men's, women's and youth sizes. The availability of styles is as follows:

Men's: Any player or personalization is available for the home (white) jersey, road (grey) jersey, and alternate (red) jersey. Please note that like the on-field version, the home jersey only has the number on the back, and does NOT have the player's name. Both the road (grey) and alternate (red) jerseys will have name and number on the back.

Women's & Youth: Any player or personalization is available for the home (white) jersey.

If I upgrade to a jersey gift bag(s), when do I need to select my jersey(s) by?

In order to ensure that your Cubs jerseys are ready for you and your party by the time the Destinations trip begins, please be sure to make all selections no later than 60 days prior to your trip. All jerseys are made custom by Majestic Athletic, and require advance ordering in order to ensure on-time delivery.

What if I don't order my jerseys by the cut-off date?

If you are unable to select your jerseys within 60 days of the trip's departure, we will make a best effort to get your jerseys for you in time for your trip, but please be aware that there is a possibility your jerseys will need to be sent to your home address after your trip's conclusion.

Where are the seats located for games on the road?

Cubs Destinations always looks to secure great group seat locations. We work diligently with each team's ticket office to negotiate the best possible location that can accommodate our group.

What if a member in my group needs accessible seating?

If a member in your party requires handicap/ADA Accessible seating, please make note in your registration under the "special requests" tab and a member of our staff will reach out to you to discuss or feel free to give us a call at 877-698-8731.

If I would like to extend my stay, should I do so through Cubs Destinations or should I call the hotel directly?

All hotel extensions should be made with Cubs Destinations via telephone at 877-698-8731 to ensure you receive our special discounted rate. Please book all extensions to your stay no later than three weeks prior to your check-in date in order to ensure availability. All extended reservations are made based on availability at the hotel.

What is your rainout policy?

While a rainout is not a common occurrence during the season, it is always a possibility. In the event a rainout does occur, there are a few options:

Your ticket is always good for the rescheduled game (which in many cases is played during the dates of the scheduled trip as a doubleheader). Tickets are non-refundable if there is a rainout and you are not able to attend the makeup date.

In the event the game is not played during the dates of the scheduled trip and you are unable to attend the rescheduled game, the ticket is yours to do what you wish with (give to friends, family, etc.)

Which player will attend the pregame reception?

Each pregame reception will include a chance to get autographs and participate in a Q&A with one current Cubs player. Due to the busy and often unpredictable schedules of our players, we are generally not able to determine who the player will be until the week of the reception. As soon as we finalize who will be appearing at your pregame reception, we will send an email out to inform you.

What is your cancellation policy?

Full payment is due upon reservation. 90 percent of your package price is refundable up until 60 days prior to your scheduled trip. Packages booked within 60 days of scheduled trip require full payment upon reservation and are non-refundable. All payments are final and non-refundable within 60 days of a scheduled trip.

Please note trip pricing and event agendas may vary slightly. Please see each individual package for specific pricing. Packages do not include airfare. Prices include all taxes and fees.

Prices are listed per person and are based on hotel room occupancy (e.g., two guests sharing one hotel room would pay the double occupancy rate per person). Extra nights are listed per night, not per person.
