This Royals fan drove 747 miles from Alabama to take in Game 2 of the World Series

You might walk 500 miles, and you might walk 500 more, but that's got nothing on one Royals fan who made the trip to World Series Game 2 on Wednesday night.

Steve is originally from western Kansas, but he and his family moved to Birmingham, Ala., three years ago -- making it tough to follow his beloved Royals. And, with Kansas City looking to take home its first World Series title in 30 years, Steve decided he couldn't be away from them any longer. So, he came up with a plan: He was just going to drive the 747 miles from Birmingham to Kauffman Stadium for Game 2.

He made the 12-hour journey with his adorable son Jackson -- who, if the above video is any indication, has already got his "Go Royals!" chant down pat -- and a Royals-themed sign. No doubt in recognition of his dedication, Kansas City gave him plenty to cheer for, as Johnny Cueto threw a complete game two-hitter to give the home team a 7-1 win and 2-0 series lead.
